FOOD AND FITNESS: HOW TO START A DAY

As a fitness lover I am an ardent fan of fitness quotes too. Here are some of the quotes I love and which keeps me motivated

 

Not reading and posting quotes alone will make one healthier and fit. A healthy mind and a healthy body comes from what you put into it. Kick start your day with some workout and a healthy breakfast.

 
 

Workout

 

When it comes to workout keep these in mind:

 
  1. Set a goal which is realistic

  2. Be consistent

  3. Believe in HIIT

  4. Accept the discomfort. Remember, “sore today, strong tomorrow”

  5. Keep yourself hydrated

  6. Always try something new to make it interesting

I love to exercise in the comfort of my home. This helps me to be consistent irrespective of the adverse weather, lockdown or any other factors which restrict the outdoor activities, especially in the present scenario the world is going through. I love both strength training and aerobic exercises. I alternate between these and workout 6 days a week. Sundays are cooldown days.

 
 
 

Food

 

Starting a day with a healthy breakfast improves your energy levels and helps in weight management. Speak about breakfast and definitely you have to speak about oats. This super grain is loaded with fiber, so they’re a great healthy breakfast! To make the breakfast more hearty, vary your toppings! Any nut butter, fruit, dried fruit, yogurt, nut, seed, or jam is fair game. I love to have my porridge naturally sweetened with fresh fruits.

 
 
 

Change up how you prepare your oats too. Make baked oatmeal or homemade granola. Enjoy!!!
