Preheat the oven to 300F (150C). Grease 2 6 inch pan and set aside.
Separate the eggs and let them cool down to room temperature. In a medium bowl.
In a medium bowl add oil and milk and mix well. Add the vanilla extract Add egg yolks and mix to incorporate.
sift the flours into the yolk mixture and mix gently to combine.
Add sugar and egg whites to a mixer bowl and whip until soft peaks are formed.
Make sure you don’t over whip, otherwise your cake might get cracked.
Gently fold in the meringue to the egg yolk mixture.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Place the pan into a larger baking tray and add warm to hot water, not boiling, into the pan, up to halfway of the pan.
Place into the oven on the second bottom rack, (not middle) and bake for 1 hour and remove the pan from the baking tray.
