Hot and Sour Chicken Soup is my Kids all time favorite soup so this Chinese style soup is made frequently at home with varying amount of customization each time . And sure enough every time it is a hit . This is an essay hot and sour chicken soup Chinese style ant one can make at home.

Directions
Boil the chicken in 500ml water by adding 1/2 tsp each of chili powder and pepper powder . Add salt to taste
Shred the chicken with a fork and discard the bones
To a pan over low heat add oil and ginger garlic paste and saute for 30 seconds.
Add the vegetables and stir fry for 3 minutes . Add salt and mix well
Now add the chicken stock, some additional water and cook for 5 minutes
Add sauce and vinegar , mix well and then add the chicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add cornflour and 2 tbsp water in a bowl and make a smooth slurry out of it. Pour this to the soup and cook for another minute stirring continuously.
Add pepper powder , beans sprouts and lemon juice and mix well. Add some brown Sugar to balance the taste.
Garnish with chili flakes and spring onions.
