Churros are a wonderful treat that you can have either for breakfast or as a snack.

Churros come with the shape of loops or sticks, and the way to eat them is coating the churro in cinnamon sugar or dipping it in coffee or dipping it in hot chocolate.

Churros with hot chocolate is the perfect afternoon snack to eat on a cold winter evenings.

You can make Churros in two traditional ways . One traditional way to make churros is by adding only flour, water and salt, and the other way is by adding also milk and egg white.

In this recipe I share with you a more delicious way of making it.

Step 1

Add Water to a bowl and add sugar and butter.

Step 2

Completely melt them on medium heat, and switch off the flame.

Step 3

Add all-purpose flour, and combine with the help of a spatula.

Step 4

Mix until a smooth ball is formed, and now let it cool down for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add eggs 1 at a time and mix well.

Step 6

Mix until a smooth pipable dough is performed.

Step 7

Transfer to a piping bag with a star nozzle attached.

Step 8

Fry in hot oil on both sides until golden brown.

Step 9

Take powdered sugar and add cinnamon powder, enjoy the churros with it.

Tips :

In order to get crispy churros, the dough should not be piped into the oil before the oil is hot enough . Because it sits in the oil and soaks it up as the oil is still getting hot. ideally, the outside should be slightly crunchy while the inside is soft and tender.

These are best stored in an airtight container lined with paper towels at room temperature where they will keep for up to 2 days. They can also be frozen. Place cooled churros in a freezer bag and they can be frozen for up to 1 month. To defrost, remove to the refrigerator overnight. To reheat bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes or pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes.
