This is an Easy Orange sponge cake any one can make with only few ingredients.
The key is to get the egg meringue right and fold in gently the dry ingredients so that the egg whites don’t deflate.
This is made with fresh orange juice. and no baking powder or soda is used. Watch my videos for Cake Flour & How to beat egg whites perfectly..

Directions
Preheat the oven to @150C.
Add the egg white to a bowl and add sugar in 3 to 4 additions.
Beat until stiff peaks are performed.
Add egg yolk, and vanilla extract and mix at low speed.
Add orange zest, oil, and orange juice, and mix low until combined.
Add Cake flour in 3 additions and gently fold in. Careful not to over-mix and deflate the egg white.
Transfer into a 6-inch cake mould greased with oil.
Tap to release any trapped air.
Bake in a preheated oven @ 150C for 25 minutes and then reduce the heat to 140C and bake for another 25 minutes.
