Ravioli In White Sauce

Ravioli is a tasty filled pasta or stuffed pasta. This recipe shows how to cook ready made ravioli in an easy and simple white sauce which is done in less than 5 minutes and has less than 5 ingredients!!!!This butter and garlic cream sauce comes together in just minutes and is a perfect topper for pasta, ravioli, shrimp, seafood or steak!

Step 1

Cook the Ravioli as per the package instruction drain and save the pasta water

Step 2

On a pan over medium heat melt butter and add garlic and sauté until it starts to change colour.

Step 3

Add flour and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes

Step 4

Add pasta water and mix well and lump free

Step 5

Add milk and cook until it thickens, stirring continuously.

Step 6

Add pepper powder and oregano

Step 7

Add chopped broccoli or any other veg of your choive, but this is completely optional

Step 8

Add ravioli and cream and mix gently and serve hot


Alternative Ingredients :

For flour you can use all purpose flour, whole wheat flour or corn flour

Cream : you can skip cream if you don’t have and increase milk by ½ cup

Butter : if you  don’t want to use butter you can replace it with olive oil .. but butter gives you the best flavor



Tips :

Be sure to cook the flour for at least a minute, stirring it with the butter so it browns and doesn’t have a raw flour taste.
