This Lemon Cake Recipe is moist, fluffy, tangy and so easy to make from scratch! Every bite of this supremely moist and is full of fresh lemon flavor and the easy lemon curd glaze on top will make you want more..
Directions
Preheat the oven to @180C.
Add egg whites to a large clean dry bowl and Salt a pinch.
Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Now add the remaining half of the sugar and milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, oil, and zest of Lemon.
Add All-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda, And Gently fold with a spatula.
Use the hand mixer on low speed to incorporate easily.
Add corn flour and transfer to 2 greased 6-inch pan or a single 9-inch pan.
Tap to release, trapped air bubbles.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at @180C for 30-35 minutes.
Add Lemon curd glaze and enjoy the Lemon Sponge cake.
