Simple Strawberry Cheese Cake Recipe | New York Cheese Cake Recipe | Yummy Treats

This Strawberry Cheesecake is so delicious, simple and easy. made with minimal ingredients and is based on my classic New York Cheesecake This gorgeous new York style strawberry cheesecake is stunning with a strawberry topping that tastes as amazing as it looks. You’ll love how creamy and rich the cheesecake is. but it’s a bit fluffy rather than heavy and dense as I am using processed cream cheese here.

This Strawberry Cheesecake is so delicious,  simple and easy. made with minimal ingredients and is based on my classic Newyork Cheesecake,  This  gorgeous newyork style strawberry cheesecake is stunning with a strawberry topping that tastes as amazing as it looks.

You’ll love how creamy and rich the cheesecake is. but it’s a bit fluffy rather than heavy and dense as I am using processed cream cheese here.

Preheat the oven @ 180 degree Celsius (350 degree)

  • Crush the biscuits in a food processor
  • Add melted butter to it and mix . Transfer to the prepared 8 inch spring from pan and compact evenly.
  • In a bowl add cream cheese and sugar and beat well
  • Add eggs one at a time and continue beating and add vanilla extract and combine well
  • Pour the batter to the prepared tin, over the biscuit layer
  • Wrap the pan with an aluminum foil and place it over a hot water bath and bake it for an hour.
  • Add gelatin powder to the water and let it bloom for 5 minutes
  • Add the strawberries to a pan over medium heat and heat it by adding sugar, until it turns soft 
  • Remove from heat and let it cool down
  • Add it to a blender and blend until a smooth puree is obtained.
  • Strain to remove any small pieces
  • Transfer it back to the pan and heat it . Add the bloomed gelatin and mix until everything is well incorporated
  • When the cake is baked take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
  • Add the strawberry puree over the cake and let them come to a room temperature.
  • Refrigerate overnight or for a minimum of 4 hours before serving.
  • Alternative Ingredients:

If you do not have cream cheese ,

1.1 litre whole milk

  1. 2 teaspoons salt
  2. 4 tablespoon lemon juice or white vinegar

In a saucepan, heat the milk on medium heat, stirring gently. Once the milk start to boil, reduce heat and Add lemon juice one tbsp at a time while stirring the milk . When The milk curdles, strain it , add salt and blend it to a cream consistency.

In this video I am using cream cheese spread which always gives me lighter and creamier textured cake.
