These melt in your mouth, cloud-like Pavlovas are the best Valentine's Day treat you can think of. Crisp on the outside with marshmallows on the inside, piled high with fluffy cream and topped with seasonal berries.

These pavlovas will be equally loved by adults and children. And when you shape it like a heart, nothing can beat it as a Valentine’s Day treat.
Directions
Preheat the Oven to 100˚ C.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place a heart shaped paper below it.
Beat egg whites in a large bowl by adding lemon juice and vanilla.
Gradually add sugar little by little while beating on high speed, and continue beating until soft peaks form, It will be smooth and glossy.
Add the corn starch and mix until well combined.
Transfer the meringue to a piping bag.
Pipe meringue onto the parchment paper.
Shape the edges with a spatula or a spoon and make room for the cream on top.
Bake for 90 minutes, When done, the pavlova gives a knocking sound while tapped.
Once baked, let it cool down completely.
Top with cream and fruits and enjoy.
Tips
- Preheat your oven and bake right away, or pavlovas can start melting or form a layer of brown sugar after baking at the bottom.
- Make sure to use parchment paper so that you can easily remove the pavlova from the baking sheet
- Corn starch is vital to the overall result of this recipe. It helps from the crisp exterior and marshmallow-soft interior. Even without cornstarch, you get a delicious pavlova.
