This is an easy moist chocolate muffin recipe for beginners . Anyone can make a perfect muffin out of this recipe so this is essentially a beginners chocolate muffin recipe, yet equally delicious and moist.
This is my favourite muffin recipe because it is Not overly sweet, has Light, moist crumb.
No stand mixer needed, no hand mixer needed. Just a whisk and bowls. Chocolate muffins are my kid’s all time favourites.
These Easy and Moist Chocolate Muffins have intense chocolate flavor, with a light and moist crumb. You can make them from start to finish in 30 minutes!
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a medium-sized muffin tray with muffin liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, sugar, Vanilla, and egg.
Add the dry ingredients, the all-purpose flour, and baking soda, and stir just until combined. Make sure not to over-mixthe batter.
Add the cocoa powder and mix to combine
Add vinegar add stir in to combine. Vinegar should be added just before adding it to the muffin cups and soon should be transferred to the oven.
Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake 18 – 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Tips :
Use quality cocoa – Quality TOTALLY matters for this recipe.
I recommend higher-end brands like Guittard, Callebaut, Valrhona, and Scharffen Berger, though Ghirardelli is a decent option as well.
Don’t over-mix – Resist the urge to stir out every single lump in the batter. Because stirring develops gluten, you’ll want to stir as little as possible, so the chocolate muffins turn out tender and not tough. This means it’s best to stir by hand, and not use an electric mixer.
Use muffin liners – Line the muffin tin with paper liners so you don’t have to worry about sticking.
Do try the recipe and let me know how it turned out. If you like it please like and share.
