In a large mixing bowl add The egg and Sugar and mix well.
Add oil and yogurt and continue mixing.
Take another bowl and add the flour and the baking soda and combine well and sift into the wet ingredients and mix gently to combine.
Take the chopped and sliced apple in different bowls and add lemon juice and the caster sugar to both and mix well.
butter a 12 inch tart pan and add the chopped apples and spread evenly
After that add the cake batter and arrange the sliced apples on top or the cake.
Apply melted butter on the apples and bake in a preheated oven @ 170C for 60 minutes
Dust with powdered sugar before serving
