Onion rings are sliced onions that are dipped in a batter, and deep fried until crisp. Though considered to be originated in Asia, this appetizer is a common menu item in the U.S. as well as regions throughout the world

Directions

Cut the onions ti 1 cm thick disks and separate the rings.

Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix well.

Coat the rings in the flour and set it aside.
Heat Oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add soda water to the flour and mix well to form a medium thick batter.

Spread the bread crumbs in a plate. Dip the rings in the batter and let the excess batter to drip off.

Coat it with bread crumbs and keep it aside.

When the Oil is hot, deep fry them until golden brown and crisp.
