Preheat the oven @170C/ 335F.
In a bowl mix together eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.
Beat with an electric whisk until the mixture becomes light and airy.
Add in the sifted flour, followed by the melted and cooled butter, Mix on low speed until everything is incorporated.
Grease 6 inch baking pan with butter and pour the batter into it.
Bake in a Pre heated oven @170C (335F) for 25 to 30 minutes.
